Sunday – January 24,  2021

We invite you to worship with us online or live by registration at 10:30am!

We offer services on Sundays at 10:30am at EBC by registration as well as online! State guidelines now allow us to seat 100 in the Multipurpose Building for worship! If needed, we can also open the chapel for up to 50 additional registrants for a simulcast viewing of the service. Watch your email or the church website to register.  Registration opens at noon this Sunday for the following week and closes on Friday.

Now is a great time to add praying through our church directory. Start with families whose name begins with the letter A and move on to B tomorrow, and so on. If you do not have a copy of our directory, please email and we can send you a copy. You can also use our online directory through the church app. Weekly prayer needs are also listed under the Weekly tab on our church app.

We look forward to the day when we ALL can safely meet together again. In the meantime, “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” (Romans 12:12)

Adult  Bible  Study

We are excited to offer a new class for adults this fall! This series will help your own Bible study tremendously, allowing you to more appropriately apply God's Word to your life and the lives of others.

How to make the most of Sunday:

Ask the Lord to give you a soft, humble, and hungry heart before you watch the video. Spend time on Saturday evening or Sunday morning in the Word and prayer to prepare your soul for worship. Pray for the church, other members, your care group, along with not-yet-believers who may watch online. Let’s pray in faith, hope, and love.
Be intentional about where in your home you will watch the message. Don’t leave that decision to the last minute. If possible, I recommend participating from the place in which you spend your daily time with the Lord.
Also, consider how you might intentionally prepare for worship. Fight the temptation to see “online message” as a mere convenience by preparing in advance and arriving on time. Decide, in advance, how will you participate—phone app, laptop, YouTube on the Smart TV? Have your Bible close at hand. Print the attached kids' worksheets to help them listen and take notes if possible.
We all know that it can be a challenge to remain undistracted at home. There are projects to do, dishes to wash, laundry to fold, bills to pay, and cleaning to be done. If your household has kids, there is the added layer of toys, craft supplies, and random socks lying around. Even more, our phone is innocently resting on the end table wooing us to check “just this one time.” But, put it all away. Clean up the space. Commit, along with those you’re gathering with, to set apart this time to learn and to worship together as a family.

EBC Kids Resources

We have the terrific opportunity and responsibility to be our children's primary mentors and teachers of the Word of God. While Sunday School, Children's Church, and other ministries are suspended, it is more important than ever that we not let this discipleship fall by the wayside! In an effort to equip you in this endeavor, we will begin sending out weekly lessons for your use at home. Watch for these weekly emails with curriculum from the Gospel Project. The link includes a printable or video lesson as well as related activity sheets. An introduction to the lesson for parents will be included at the beginning of each email. We hope you will find these resources helpful! If you are not receiving these emails and would like to, please contact the church office.
Don’t forget that you have access to RightNow Media through our church. If you haven’t activated your account, let us know. There is a wide variety of content for kids and parents. One recommended kids’ show is “Superbook.” -
