We love God, so we will preach the Word.
All of Scripture is breathed by God and is profitable for teaching, correction, and training. The Word of God is sharper than a two-edged sword, giving godly discernment to us. Because of the sufficiency of Scripture, we recognize that it is invaluable for our lives. Every week in the Sunday service, the Gospel is preached using expository preaching. Nothing else has the transforming power for the church but the Word of God plainly set forth in preaching, teaching, and living.

We love one another, so we will disciple one another.
Jesus told us that everyone will know that we are His disciples if we love one another, and, if we love one another and love God, we will be obedient to his Word. God told us to go into the world and make disciples, teaching them to observe all of the things He has commanded us. People are transformed and renewed in the likeness of Christ when they look at God as He has revealed himself in both His written and incarnate Word. Our job as the church is to show people a reflection of Jesus.

We love the nations, so we will send the Church.
The Good News of the Gospel cannot be hoarded; it must be given out. To be faithful to the Scriptures, the Gospel must go forth to the nations. We cannot be satisfied with self-absorption. God gave us His only Son, so we should be passionate about sharing the Gospel in every nation with those that need to hear it. How will they believe in Christ if they don’t have a messenger?

Core Values of EBC
What are you looking for in a church? What does the ideal church look like? EBC is a church family that loves God, loves one another, and loves the nations. These three values are at the center of all that we do. Our greatest desire is to grow obedient Christians through the Gospel.
